Low Vision Rehabilitation Center
The first children's low vision clinic in China was established in Tianjin Eye Hospital in 1987. We accumulated rich l experience of successful cases during 20 years’ hard work and developed a set of suitable low vision rehabilitation programs. Thousands of children aged from 3 to 14 had received the rehabilitation procedure . The Director, former president Wang Sihui leads the clinic. This work has enabled thousands of children with low vision to accept nine-year compulsory education as normal children.. Our ophthalmologists and optometrists provide low vision aids by calculating the image magnify rate. About 85% patients’ visual acuity has been improved significantly to meet the needs of watching far away and see better at near.(2016.7)
